What's new in version 14.0.10
- New: Enhanced security for sites hosted on Apache web servers. The new "Reinforce the security of this website (Apache web server)" option, located in the "Options > Security & HTML" screen, allows you to bolster your web server's security. This option, not enabled by default, should only be activated if your server is an Apache web server, otherwise it may trigger an internal server error rendering your website inaccessible (in such a case, you would need to uncheck this option and republish your site again entirely).
- New: Right of withdrawal compliance for digital products. A new option "Ask for an explicit waiver of the right of withdrawal when the order contains downloadable products" is available under "e-Commerce > Withdrawal". When enabled, a separate checkbox appears in the order form only if the cart contains at least one downloadable product. The customer expressly requests that the download start immediately and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal - the two conditions set out in Article 16(1)(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU. The order cannot be submitted until it is ticked, and the consent is stored with the order and repeated in the confirmation e-mail. The wording is translated and proposed by default into every site language but can be modified if you need to. This new option is off by default meaning that existing shops keep their current behaviour until it is turned on.
- Images manually selected and added to the "og:image" meta tags in Group/Blog topics were sometimes lost or disappeared after saving.
- The customizable "More..." text for links/buttons on the index page of Group/Blog topics did not account for language settings on multilingual sites.
- The "View the full FTP server log" link, displayed after a failed publication, was not always working.
- Some default values for the Mondial Relay delivery method used an incorrect format.
- An apostrophe, a quotation mark, or a backslash in the text of a custom checkbox on the order form could render the order form inoperable.
